So over in Japan they've named Doraemon-- the cat-like robot from the future with a fourth-dimensional pocket on his tummy-- an anime ambassador. This is hot on the heels of Astroboy's appointment as an ambassador for overseas safety.
So where's Canada's stance on all this? After all, there's a lot of animation done in this country of ours-- when are we going to get our own cartoon ambasador(s)? And who should it be? May I humbly suggest the Raccoons?
